Fabric Book I am currently working on in blues.
I love the vintage fabric used to tie up the book.
I adore this little girl. I downloaded her from Flicker I think. The piece on the right is an old doily.
The flower is part of an old embroidered piece very badly damaged.
The blue flowers are from some new ribbon trim.
Old green millinery flower stem from Japan:
The graphic on the left is again from the Graphics Fairy. I attached an anchor charm to it. Fabric on right is upholstery samples I was sent by Cindy, a Facebook friend. I sewed an old beaded trimming on top of it.
The bird is from the same damaged embroidery.
The Graphic on the right is again from the Graphics Fairy.
Also more upholstery fabric.
Vintage lace and upholstery fabric:
I sewed the vintage flocked fabric (from an old curtain) on to the spine with some old plastic pearls.
I love the cover graphic. It is an old postcard of two African American Children by the seashore, again from Lovely Karen the Graphics Fairy.:
I am making one in pinks next :)
Have a wonderful day with lots of Vintage style.
